Carvana, the $5.9 billion car sharing app launched in August, has just launched an app for Apple Watch.
The app is the result of a collaboration between Carvana’s co-founders, Evan Spiegel and Daniel Eklund.
The idea behind the app was to provide a platform for car owners to quickly and easily find, book and share their rides with friends.
The app is based on Carvana.tv, an online platform for live events and podcasts.
“It’s the first time that we’ve been able to offer a product to people that’s completely built on the Carvana platform,” Spiegel said at a launch event for the app.
The partnership was announced last year.
Carvana has also announced it is partnering with Uber to launch its own car sharing service.
